The post also described my hypothesis to the boost - mostly attributed to a major bump in reviews (2 to 73). Around early to mid October about half of those reviews were removed and only 38 reviews still stand. I believe this caused the downward spike. Tomorrow I will try to get some more reviews and see if that can bump the app up again. Also, I'm releasing a new version, so both of those will contribute to an improved ranking.
The advertisement revenue from Inspirational Quotes Daily is poverty since downloads are lacking Fortunately, ad impressions rise linearly with current installs by device. The later is shown below over a 3 month period.
If I don't see noticeable improvement, then I am going to discontinue development of this particular app and clone another three daily quote apps onto the store and hope one will get lucky.
